This article tells the story of Juan Quiroz and his family. He is serving in the navy and is preparing for deployment later on in the year. The stress of preparing to go over seas has a huge strain on most families. But for Juan, his wife, and their two sons, there is added on stress lingering in their minds. Juan’s wife is in the United States illegally and every time he goes to serve, he has to worry about her deportation. She currently has a deportation order out for her so any run in with officials could separate their family for years. While this family sacrifices so much to fight for our country, the country they are fighting for is trying to ruin them.
